Site Structure
<Back to Website Design

Structure is the framework that holds pieces of content together.

Once the content is identified and gathered, Interteq organizes it into "bite sized" pieces. Most sites contain enough information to employ a hierarchical structure.

Information is organized into categories that a viewer will immediately recognize and understand. Care is taken in creating the hierarchy. One that is too shallow will present the viewer with too many choices on a given page, one that is too deep will force the viewer to follow endless links to arrive at the information they seek.

A well thought out structure serves to guide the viewer to the information that they seek.
